Can you remember what you were doing 45 years ago? I have problems remembering what I was doing yesterday. But I can remember what I was doing 45 years ago today. I can remember and will remember until I die what I was doing on November 22, 1963. I was at home listening to WRUL Radio New York Worldwide on a shortwave radio when I heard the announcement that shots had been fired at the motorcade of President John F. Kennedy.

Great Video.. thank you for posting
Wow, really appreciate you talking about it. It’s interesting to hear everyones stories- I wasn’t alive , so I don’t know first hand obviously, but everyone seems to remember where they were.
Really appreciate it!
they will never find it
Its gone, and its probably a part of the earth by now. I dont think anyone will find out exactly what happened and who killed him. It just pisses me off how the government treats high-case murders like that. It does make me believe that they were involved. HE WAS PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA! But they can’t find his brain or look at a number of other factors that were involved. Especially the great possibility of another shooter.
thank you for telling your story! Ignore some of the ungrateful bastards (vvv below vvv) that show up on youtube. I was not alive then, in fact, i was born until 30 years after his death. I watch and listen to Kennedy and he was a great man. He is an idol of mine. I consider him the greatest president. I thank you, and i plan to use this in a report of mine on his assassination. Don’t listen to idiots (vvv). “To hear your thoughts was very valuable and I appreciate you sharing your feelings”
What the hell? I thought he was gonna say something important. Who really gives a fuck old man? You just wasted 6 minutes of my life asshole! We are all a little bit dumber for having listened you old fartbag.
I can’t wait when they find JFK’s brain it has so many ANWSER’S.
i deffinately agree with hogan99
i was born on november 22 also…o_0
i was born on november 22nd :O
This is a fine story. Mine is a bit eerie. I was 11 when JFK was killed. Each Friday, in our 6th grade class, we’d give reports on books we’d selected a week earlier and had read during the past seven days. That Friday, I heard our teacher ask another, Was it in the head? I soon found out what happened. Then, I gave my report on the book I’d chosen a week earlier — The Day Lincoln Was Shot, by Jim Bishop. (Which I’d read over the last two months.)
We need more videos like this on YouTube
I wasn’t alive at the time, but I’m fascinated about the assassinations in the 60’s ,how did you feel when Martin Luther King or Bobby Kennedy got killed, all in that short time span? It seems like one punch in the face after another.I’d love to hear your thoughts.
i know what you mean.
I was not alive when John F. Kennedy was killed, in fact I wouldn’t be born till two decades later, and although I obviously cannot gather any memories of the event, it is my understanding that his assassination was one of the most saddest and defining chapters in American history. To hear your thoughts, someone who was alive at the time, was very valuable and I appreciate you sharing your feelings and insight, even if it was a day late.
I was three years old when JFK was killed. I was playing on the living room floor while my mother watched the news bulletins. My mother crying is what really sticks in my mind. BTW, Your description says FDR. He died 15 years before I was born.
