Another receiver demonstration (see my DX 160 and FRG 7 in operation as well!) The 150A is a great old shortwave radio.

i usually use the dx100 on my desk.
What sort of antenna do you suggest for one of these? I have a VHF rooftop antenna on mine, but it’s a bit of a pain to have to keep swapping the wire from the TV to the radio.
Great video. I’ve had my DX-394b for 12 or so years, but only recently discovered about the rest of the DX range through videos like this. Now I want them all! thanks for sharing.

Looks like you need to do some light’s replacement (’S’ meter and main dial). Bummer about the ‘A’ band too. I had a DX-160 years ago (bought it new) and sold it a few years ago at a hamfest here in the US. Hope you can get yours working completely..
