What does one of these cost?
What Type of wire did you use between the Alligator clips?
I think when you connect an external antenna it cancels out the telescoping antenna.
Hey very nice. Thanks for posting this!

Hey Cornej92, can you do me a favor? I see you posted this a while back. If by chance you still have this receiver, is there any way you can post a vid of this piece being used in the evenings around the 6.100 - 6.900 area? TIA. Take care.
I have had a lot of success with DXing on the AM band. Solar Cycles and the ionosphere play a large role in your reception. When I first got the radio it had great RX on the AM band. Now with the solar cycle things aren’t coming in nearly as good as they were.
Sideband is definitely a plus. I highly recommend a good radio with it.
Yes, I can
Thank you for your comment
530khz-29mhz and FM radio band
Sounds like a great idea and have heard success stories with doing this. It just doesn’t sound like a sight I would like to wake up to every day. Ha!
Agree, maybe not serious though. I’d say moderate.
This radio has moderate drift problems. Some days it does well but every now and then it drifts off of frequency by a few khz (noticable difference).
Great, I’m glad you enjoy the S350DL
I tried the G6, but traded it for this radio. It receives much better, and the AM is great.
I noticed some drift towards the end and was wondering if it’s usually like that, or if it was because you were using the rapid tuning dial. Any help would be great since I’m thinking about buying this radio.
Nice radio, but the video shows that drifting is a serious problem in this model, even on strong signals - any comments on that?
Instead of putting up the slinky near the wall, try putting it near the window… better yet… (this is what I did when I lives in an apt.) … put a sheet of aluminum foil across your bedroom’s wall that faces the exterior. And attach the aligator… It isn’t a pretty sight, but you can cover it with posters and such… You´ll get great reception. … none of that Chinese shit
Can you pick up ham bands with that thing?
